Fredfades inviterer DJ Aleksi (FI) til Blå nå på lørdag.

Driving raw underground rhythms into physical motion, DJ Aleksi knows how to make a room forget time and space.

DJ Aleksi is a Helsinki-based DJ deeply rooted in the city’s underground scene, a resident at the legendary Club Kaiku (https://clubkaiku.fi/), and a regular at Post Bar (https://postbar.fi/). He has recently performed at Solstice Festival (https://solsticefestival.fi/), Flow Festival (https://www.flowfestival.com/), Visio Festival (https://visiofestival.com/) and at clubs such as Sisyphos (https://ra.co/clubs/17118) (Berlin), DOKA (https://ra.co/clubs/81540) and SISSI’S (https://sissisamsterdam.nl/) (Amsterdam), NAR (https://www.nar.nl/) (Utrecht), and HALL (https://hall.vision/) (Tallinn), sharing lineups with artists including Ogazon, PLO Man, Nick León, Luxe, Paramida, Audrey Danza, Call Super, Levon Vincent, Sansibar and Luca Lozano to name few.

With over ten years of experience, DJ Aleksi is known for his ability to read and move the dance floor. His sets are deep yet physical, moving between bouncy house, rolling techno, wild vocals and no-nonsense club heaters. A long-time digger with roots in raw, independent music, he plays only what he truly believes in, always keeping it underground. Alongside DJing, he co-runs the OO Recordings label (https://oorecordings.bandcamp.com/), hosts a resident radio show on IDA Helsinki, and curates parties with the DWSC collective (https://www.instagram.com/dannywusoundcommunity/).
